DAY ONE, ERNAKULAM (approx. 42 mt, 26 kms from the airport)

The cab will arrive at the Kochi International airport for your pick up; it will take approximately 40 to 45 minutes to reach Ernakulum city, the Queen of the Arabian Sea. Check-in and relax for a while in the hotel booked for you. Old Kochi refers to a group of islands which comprise Willingdon Island, Fort Kochi, Mattancherry etc.

Whether you are a nature lover, an adventure enthusiast or a history buff, the city has something for everyone.

Kochi has many attractions of which the historical tourist spots are the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Tripunithura Palace Museum.

Cultural attractions are Kerala Folklore Museum, Kathakali and Martial arts performances at the Cochin Cultural center.

Pilgrimage enthusiasts can visit Chottanikara temple, Tripinithura Poornathreya temple, Ernakulathappan temple etc.

And for the feel of the town a drive through the Marine Drive, Subash Chandra Bose Park and Lulu Mall etc. is ideal.

DAY TWO, MUNNAR (approx. 04 hrs, 142 kms from Kochi)

After your morning breakfast from Kochi, proceed towards Munnar. On the way you can see an interesting photo point site, ie. Cheyyappara Waterfalls. Check-in to the hotel/resort that has been booked and relax for a while, later explore the nearby sight-seeing places.

The places of interest in Munnar are Top Station, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty dam, Rose Garden, Carmelagiri Elephant Park (pvt.owned), Eco Point, Tea Museum, Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary etc. Depending on the time limits, your cab driver and the hotel guest relation staff can guide you to the best choice from these sightseeing spots.

DAY THREE, MUNNAR (Visit the remaining places in Munnar and overnight stay at the same resort)

DAY FOUR, THEKKADY (approx. 03 hrs, 95 kms from Munnar)

After breakfast from your Munnar resort, check out and proceed towards Thekkady.  After check-in visit the spice plantations and the surroundings near the resort.

Explore the natural habitat at the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary the following day early morning; try Jeep safari or Bullock-cart ride too which makes a unique adventurous trip on a whole. Enjoy the fabulous scenery around you.

DAY FIVE, ALLEPPEY (approx. 04 hrs, 138 kms from Thekkady)

Proceed to Alleppey after your morning breakfast. Your one bedroom houseboat will be ready on arrival by noon.

You will be provided with welcome drink, Kerala traditional lunch, evening tea & snacks, night dinner and the following day morning breakfast. Meanwhile discover the vast network of lakes, lagoons and the beautiful backwaters. If weather permits you can try the country boat canoeing for an hour or so. While your eyes explore the rustic life that floats by; treat your palate to the backwater delicacies prepared by your own personal chef.

DAY SIX, Checkout and Airport drop (approx.02 hr. 35 mts, 95 kms)

After your check-out from the houseboat, the final day of the Central Kerala tour winds up and you will be dropped at the Kochi airport. You can travel back home with great memories of your 05 nights and 06 days trip.
